Allen Loyola
I'm Allen, a Full Stack Software Engineer based in Belfast with 5 years of experience building scalable web applications
About Me
With a strong foundation in Physics and a Master's in Software Development, I bring an analytical and
problem-solving mindset to engineering. Over the last 5 years, I have evolved into a versatile Full Stack
Engineer,
moving from my early days in marketing to now delivering enterprise-grade software.
I’m a builder at heart. Whether I’m architecting a web app, building custom PCs, or editing
video, I truly enjoy building and creating high-quality tools and experiences from the ground up.

Education
MSc in Software Development
Queen's University Belfast
2018-2019
This intensive program provided the theoretical foundation for my career, covering Java, software architecture, and testing methodologies. This is where my career in software engineering began.
BSc in Physics
Queen's University Belfast
2012-2016
I spent four years studying how the world works through maths and logic. This degree taught me how to break
down big, complex problems into smaller parts—a skill I use every day when writing code.
Core Physics: Studied advanced topics like Quantum Mechanics, Nuclear Physics, and Relativity.
Maths: Gained a strong grasp of calculus, algebra, and statistics.
Final Projects: My main research projects were in X-Ray Diffraction and Catastrophe Theory (studying
how small changes can cause big shifts in a system).
Technical Skills
Core Professional Stack:
.NET & C#: Building robust APIs and backend logic.
React & Angular: Creating responsive, modern user interfaces.
Additional Tools & Personal Projects:
Python & Django: I use these for personal projects and quick prototyping.
AI Integration: I’m currently focused on upskilling with AI Agents. I’m actively integrating AI
tools
into my development workflow to build smarter, more efficient software.
